Our customer
Central Bedfordshire College is a further education college located across several campuses throughout the county and provides high-quality teaching and learning. It is rated Silver by TEF. Alongside their academic and vocational training, students are provided with exceptional pastoral support from our award-winning Student Services. It was clear from our initial scoping visit that the security service in place was inadequate.
How we partner with Central Bedfordshire College
Following a series of meetings with the college’s management and security team, we discussed their requirements and developed a clear service delivery plan including college-specific training and a health and safety plan. Once the plan was agreed upon, we put in place an experienced team of guards who are trained in the specific requirements of all College campus sites.
The college also has a dedicated Account manager and we run monthly 1-2-1 contract reviews and performance meetings with their team. To support service delivery, we also provide the academy with access to our integrated technology Novagems which allows their team to track the performance of our guards and service delivery and access KPI data and reports. We also provide safeguarding training, Safeguarding Officers, keyholding to all six campus sites, and an in-house training package which includes yearly refresher training.
